Press Release SOURCE: The Dillard Anderson Group VARCO, L.P. ACQUIRES WILDCAT SERVICES, L.P. Friday, July 30, 2004 Sam Anderson, Managing Director of The Dillard Anderson Group announces the sale of Wildcat Services, L.P., Houston, Texas, to Varco, L.P. Wildcat's core business is the rental of its patented Automatic Drilling System (ADS). Drilling contractors and E&P Operators use the ADS to automatically maximize the drilling rate of penetration achieved by the drilling rig. Wildcat provides its service in all active areas of the United States, Canada and certain overseas markets. The purchase price, which was not publicly disclosed, was comprised of cash and a note. Anderson stated “We were pleased to assist our client, Mr. Wayne Prejean, in achieving his personal and financial goals. We were also pleased that Mr. Prejean accepted a senior management position with M-D Totco, Varco's drilling instrumentation subsidiary.” |
