Press Release SOURCE: The Dillard Anderson Group TRI-POINT ACQUIRES TRINITY VALLEY & MIDCOAST DIESEL SERVICE Friday, July 12, 2002 Sam Anderson, Managing Director of The Dillard Anderson Group, (DAG) announces the sale of Trinity Valley Welding and Machine, Inc. and MidCoast Diesel Service, Inc. Trinity Valley, in Liberty, Texas, specializes in the repair, refurbishment and fabrication of drilling equipment and manufacturing of spare parts. MidCoast, Victoria, Texas, is involved in sales service and rebuilding of diesel engines, transmissions and mud pumps. The sale of these two client companies was the fourth transaction completed by DAG this year. Anderson stated “We were pleased to assist our clients in achieving their objectives of financial liquidity, plus retained equity ownership in a larger, more diversified enterprise.” Investment capital was provided by Tri-Point Partners, Houston, and RBC Capital Partners, Greenwich, Connecticut. |
