Press Release SOURCE: The Dillard Anderson Group ALLIS-CHALMERS ACQUIRES JENS' OILFIELD SERVICE, INC. Monday, February 11, 2002 Max Dillard, Managing Director of The Dillard Anderson Group (DAG) of Houston announces that DAG served as advisor for the sale of 81% of Jens’ Oilfield Service, Inc. to Allis Chalmers, Inc. (AMEX:ALY). Jens’ Oilfield Service, Inc. supplies equipment and personnel and install casing and production tubing required to drill and compete oil and gas wells, both onshore and offshore. Jens’ has offices in Edinburg, Victoria and Pearsall, Texas and four locations in Mexico. The aggregate purchase of the majority stock interest was for $18.3 million in cash and sellers notes. Jens Mortensen, owner and founder for 20 years, will continue to serve as its President and 19% shareholder. DAG also represented Mountain Air Drilling Service Company in its sale to Allis Chalmers last year. Mountain Air provides compressed air for drilling operations in Utah, Colorado and New Mexico. |
